"Art has always been an integral part of my life. From kindergarten on I had a crayon or pencil in my hands, I potted and sculpted in clay, designed and wove textiles and just of late concentrated mostly on my paintings. Having lived and traveled all over the globe. from Canada to Costa Rica and from Capetown to Kathmandu my art has been influenced and gone through many changes.
Nature has always been a source of never ending fascination and even my abstracts are often grounded in nature itself.
Since moving to Jacksonville I have been a member of The Art Center COOP , the Orange Park Art Guild, JWS and Somma,as well as The Jacksonville Artists Guild . My work has won many prizes and awards and has been featured in many group and solo exhibitions, among them the Karpeles Museum, the Beaches Fine Arts Series, the Thrasher Horne Center, the JCA and the "ART after Dark" exhibit as well as many private collections."
